Town Square Shopping Centre, Redbank Plains, QLD
Town Square is a new state-of-the-art 27,000 sqm mixed retail development at a cost of$140 million. The shopping centre has the major retailers Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Targetand 60 specialty stores. A variety of food outlets are also located at the centre, includingThe Coffee Club, Dominos, KFC and Nandos. The shopping centre aims to meet the retailneeds of the fast growing region as well as provide a social destination.
Project Design Brief
Ease of access for grease removal, maintenance and cleaning was a major consideration for designers. It was recommended that each food outlet have their own durable grease trap to ensure other businesses would not be affected if there were an issue with a shared grease trap.
